Qualifications

  • Must be willing to travel and relocate. Project sites are located domestically and internationally, so relocation and/or travel is required.
  • Vocational/technical training beyond high school and/or a B.S. in Civil, Construction Technology, or related degrees.
  • Previous experience on heavy civil or commercial/industrial building projects.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Strong work ethic; willing to do what it takes to get the job done.
  • Ability to function as a team-builder/player.
  • Ability to work independently as well as a team.
  • Ability to freely access all points of a construction site in wide-ranging climates and      environment.
  • Proficient computer skills and the use of various construction management software.

Responsibilities

  • Review, interpret and understand Contract Documents including specifications, drawings, and designs.
  • Review submittals and correspondence for conformance with Contract Documents.
  • Coordinate with quality control testing personnel.
  • Interface with Owner on QC matters.
  • Manage third party testing agencies.
  • Documentation of field conditions and conflicts.
  • Reports on issues to management accordingly.
  • Writing reports and maintaining spreadsheets.
  • Participate in QC inspections and meetings with clients, engineers, authorities having jurisdiction and other personnel.
  • Identifies and resolves conflicts accordingly.
