Qualifications

  • 5 years + of experience in managing building maintenance and upkeep
  • HVAC understanding/maintenance a plus
  • Familiarity with security systems a plus
  • Positive and helpful attitude
  • Detail-orientated
  • Good communication skills
  • Good scheduling skills

Responsibilities

  • Managing 1 or more employees responsible for facility maintenance.
  • Managing contracts and contract performance of multiple contractors responsible for cleaning and maintaining the building.
  • Keeping all operating certificates and other jurisdictional requirements up to date.
  • Scheduling of and logging of all maintenance activities to the facility, grounds and auxiliary buildings.
  • Communicating with upper management expected costs and other planning related information so they can make informed decisions.
  • Communicating with other employees relevant information necessary to their use of the building.
  • Managing the security infrastructure, including badge management, video review, camera maintenance, etc.
  • Planning evacuations and other emergency preparations and communicating these clearly with employees.
