    • The SMCF Supervisor shall be responsible for the quality of all stone materials on the project.
    • The SMCF Supervisor shall be responsible for preparing a Stone Materials Control (SMC) Plan for the project.
    • The SMCF Supervisor shall be responsible for preparing a weekly Stone Materials inspection report for the proper execution of the SMC Plan.
    • The SMCF Supervisor shall be responsible for the proper execution of the SMC plan.
    • The SMCF Supervisor shall be on the site of the stone source during initial production, handling, and loading of stone materials for each source. The SMCF Supervisor shall also be at the stone source locations weekly during stone material production.


    • The SMCF Supervisor must have technical training and experience as a Geologist, Engineering Geologist, Civil Engineer or Civil Engineering Technician.
    • The SMCF Supervisor must demonstrate at least five (5) years of experience in the evaluation of stone materials included large rip rap sizes such as USACE R-5000 and R-7400 as defined by the USACE Memphis District.
    • Undergraduate degree in Engineering, Business Administration (Accounting, Management or Finance), Construction Management or related field. Equivalent experience in a construction-related position will also be considered.
    • Must be willing to travel and relocate. Project sites are located domestically and internationally, so relocation and/or travel are required.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills. 
    • Good attention to detail, with the ability to recognize discrepancies.
    • Strong work ethic - Willing to do what it takes to get the job done.
    • The ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
    • Experience working with the Tennessee Valley Authority or USACE is preferable.
    • The ability to freely access all points of a construction site in wide-ranging climates and      environment.

    This position will initially be assigned to a project in Counce, TN. EOE, E-Verify Employer
